The Maclean Foundation identifies potential water projects in need of funding
Each unique whisky is bottled and delivered to our customers
Every bottle sold creates enough funding to give at least one-person clean water for life
Our Packaging
Our packaging is designed by Contagious, an award-winning design agency that has supported The Maclean Foundation pro-bono.
The unique packaging allows Charlie the space to articulate his favourite pastime, allowing you to hear the whisky’s story while enjoying a dram. Each bottle comes with a short narrative that captures the flavours and aromas of the whisky.
Iain McIntosh, one of Scotland’s most praised illustrators, has created a unique artwork for the Ardnamurchan & Glen Scotia releases. The scenes have been inspired by the history, nature and spirit of each distillery.
Our Impact
Every bottle sold will give at least one person clean water for life. It costs our charity partners £6,000 to build and maintain one borehole, which will serve an average of 200 people for 80 years. This means it costs £30 to give one person clean water for an entire lifetime.
For every bottle of whisky we sell, at least £30 will be donated to this cause. Buyers of the whisky will receive information about the specific impact of their bottle after the project has been completed.
